Stop comparing your kid to others and celebrate who they are instead.

Did you ever go through a rough season of parenting where it seems like you and your child are battling all the time? Where it seems like you're not connecting but just constantly correcting?💁♀️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stop and reflect.🤓
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Write down a list of all the wonderful qualities that your child has. Just enjoy being with your kid in the moment. Write your kid a letter. Share your concerns and share your struggles. Apologize, if necessary. Share a poem or funny joke. Sometimes, writing our feelings down is easier than talking about them to our kid--especially if conversations have been tense.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Raising kids is one of the hardest and most rewarding job in the world. The great thing is--you already have an amazing kid in front of you. 💗
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don't forget that in the midst of all the struggles or tough seasons, you're doing great. And so is your kid. 😍

Know someone who would appreciate this reminder, share the love! 😊️
